University of Leeds, Lupton Hall

Approached by the Facilities Directorate at the University of Leeds, Fabrik were excited to take on the task of redesigning the Lupton Hall student residence reception area.

Great demands are put on the space at peak periods, such as the start and end of term, with an influx of over 600 students to the site.  The space is also used on a day-to-day basis for students to access mail and visit the help-desk.

Going forward the key stakeholders wanted the space to act as a ‘hub’ for the Lupton Hall community;  an approachable and friendly environment where residents can drop in for a drink, socialise and share information.
